The Bernese Jura author, director and producer Lucienne Lanaz is being honored for her cinematic work and her tireless commitment.<\/p>\n
For many years she has lived and worked in a farmhouse in Grandval in the Bernese Jura. Lanaz grew up in Zurich and commuted between Zurich, Bern and the Jura for many years for work reasons. The documentary filmmaker produced almost all of her films herself. Lanaz is just as critical of the 1970s as her colleagues. Women were simply not taken into account back then, “les femmes, elles n’existent pas”. The “CH-Filmfrauen” association was founded in her house in Grandval in 1975. Lucienne Lanaz has made a total of over 30 short and feature films, most recently “Gianerica” \u200b\u200bin 2021, a portrait of the artist couple Erica and Gian Pedretti.<\/p>\n
