This site traces the career of this self-taught Swiss filmmaker, a model of tenacity,<\/p>\r\n

independence and commitment. Her talent, sensitivity and resourcefulness lead her to explore often unusual or rarely discussed subjects, “because we don’t talk about these things”.<\/p>\r\n


Nothing predestined Lucienne Lanaz to this profession, neither her education nor her professional training. But once she had the camera in her hands, she would never let go. Her cinema is an incarnation of the awareness brought by the image, without didacticism and with the heart.<\/p>\r\n
